Nattalie Portman Praises Taika Waititi for “Genius” | Entertainment

Natalie Portman considers Taika Waititi’s “magnificence” to be “a kind of miracle”.

The 41-year-old actress returned to the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) as Jane Foster/The Mighty Thor in Thor: Love and Thunder. he has such “amazing ideas”.

She told The Hollywood Reporter, “He’s so wild and he has these amazing ideas all the time.

“I mean, it’s kind of a miracle that it can generate that much shine on a consistent basis. It’s really an amazing and amazing opportunity to just be a witness.”

Christian Bale, who made his Marvel debut as Gorr the Butcher God in the film, was equally thrilled to be working with the director.

He said, “Working with Taika is just wonderful. To be honest, this is a very touching film, but as you might expect, [it’s] damn funny coming from Taika. And what a cast. It was a real joy.”

Chris Hemsworth has already played Thor in eight films and is excited to continue working on the character, thanks in part to Taika and his “fresh” ideas.

He said, “I’ve been doing this for ten, eleven years now. And every time I think, yes, I will do it again if there is something new to tell and something fresh and unique that we have not done before.

Thanks to everyone at Marvel, but Taika Waititi has created a whole new journey in this case.

“I think that’s the point: to keep things fresh, spontaneous and unpredictable for the fans. It’s such a collaboration with so many great writers, producers and directors that I was able to work with the character. It’s an honor.”

Meanwhile, Taika himself, who also co-wrote the script and stars in the film, believes he has “outdone” his work on Thor: Ragnarok.

He said, “Personally, I thought, ‘Oh, how can we top this?’ Do you know if it’s possible to surpass this?

“This film is bigger and touches on more important themes, human themes, it’s emotional. I couldn’t be happy.”
