Kerala Tourism launches marketing campaign to support its caravan tourism

Kerala Tourism has initiated a rigorous marketing ingenuity to showcase and support its ‘game changing’ caravan tourism initiative across India. This project has been named “Keravan Kerala” and it has attracted interest from the shareholders and more than 1000 caravans will operate in Kerala.

Approximately 150 motorhome parking lots will be built soon as part of the Kerala government’s interest and tourist-friendly motorhome tourism rule law. Entrepreneurs with great enthusiasm manage 280 tourist caravans and 148 caravan sites throughout Kerala. A caravan stop was established at Wagamon in Idukki. Several caravans are currently in operation.

Mohamed Riyas, Minister of Tourism of Kerala, said the project is a sincere initiative that has received a warm response from the industry. A large number of potential stakeholders are showing interest in building caravan parks and operating caravans throughout Kerala.

Minister Riyas said the caravan’s strategy is a tactical shift to introduce Kerala to a global audience, which is based on the idea of ​​”exploring the unknown” throughout the year. Caravan tourism has a huge opportunity to be a game changer in Kerala’s tourism sector, which has been hit hard by the pandemic. Consequently, there is a plan to launch a massive pan-Indian advertising campaign to give the state’s tourism sector a huge boost.
