The Naperville Salute announces Independence Day weekend musical entertainment schedule.

Above/Rising County Music star John Langston will take the stage at The Salute at 8:00 pm on Saturday, July 2.

The Salute Naperville Independence Day Festival is proud to announce its schedule of musical entertainment during the afternoons and evenings of July 1-4.

Firstly, The Salute’s entertainment scene will be headlined by American pop, soul and jazz fusion; country; classic rock and cover, as well as a diverse musical repertoire.

At 20:00 Friday, July 1, Shining star will headline on the main stage. With 10 very talented vocalists and musicians joining forces harmoniously, Shining Star pays tribute to Earth, Wind and Fire, celebrating four decades of success, popularity and sustainability of one of the most successful musical stories ever told.

Saturday, July 2 at 8:00 pm country music rising star John Langston join the salute in honor of our heroes! Welcome rolling stone as one of “10 New Country and American Artists You Need to Know”. Langston is originally from Georgia but speaks to audiences in every state. He toured with country great Luke Bryan and his new single “Back Words” is now playing on country radio.

At 20:00 Sunday, July 3, Maggie says will perform with a “diverse musical repertoire”. Maggie Speaks promises “an ever-changing live show spanning six decades of music and an unending stream of hits” that is sure to bring audiences of all ages to The Salute.

At 6:30 pm on Monday, July 4, the headliner of the Independence Day evening, ARRA, will take the stage. For three decades, ARRA was a widely popular Chicago classic rock cover band, drawing large audiences in the suburbs.

Immediately after the ARRA performance, the event will close due to the celebration of Independence Day.

Day and night, an entertainment stage will be set up at the foot of Rotary Hill, providing a wide range of entertainment. (PN File Photo 2021)

A Few Notes on the Naperville Salute, More Than Music

Second annual Naperville Salute the festival (napervillesalute.org) will continue to celebrate our families, our community and the values ​​of our hometown; around our military and first responders, in a collective salute to them and what they guard for us: our security and our freedom.

In partnership with the City of Naperville, the Naperville Park District and sponsors, the Naperville Salute will once again take place at Rotary Hill, located at 443 Aurora Avenue, directly across the street from Naperville Central High School.

The four-day festival will combine family entertainment, live music, food and beverage outlets, a family fun area, and special presentations for our war veterans.

The gates open at 4:00 pm on Friday and Saturday, at 2:00 pm on Sunday, and at noon on Independence Day, 4 July.

Bring your own blankets and fold-out lounge chairs and plan to sit on the hill for a natural view of the entertainment stage. Or dance the night away in front of a stage or on top of a hill.
