Seminar on affordable travel for students and staff June 21

Most people consider travel to be one of their top priorities in their lives. Finding the time and money to be able to travel can be difficult. Tea Center for Financial Well-Being is hosting a free on-campus workshop to help address one of these issues on Tuesday, June 21 at 11:00 a.m. at the East Union Ballroom.

We Travel Cheap was created by Mike Whitesides as a way to find affordable travel deals for all budgets. Using tools available to everyone, Mike has helped many families and individuals save on holidays in all aspects of travel: hotels, flights, restaurants and tours. The Financial Wellness Center is delighted to host Mike, who will teach the U community how to use these tools to fund their dream vacation.

Students and staff are invited to join us for this informative session, which will include input from the Women’s Resource Center on issues related to travel and equality. It will take place at the East Union Ballroom at 11:00.
