Gerald Carpenter: Voices sing of sacred love | Arts and Entertainment

Nathan Kreutzer and his choir ensemble Quire of Voyces want us to know that they missed singing for us as much as we missed listening to them.

They are back in power for their spring concerts titled Sacred Love at 3:00 pm on Saturday, May 28 and 3:00 pm on Sunday, May 29, both at the Academy’s St. Anthony Chapel at 2300 Garden St. .

(Note: The Saturday concert will take place at 3:00 pm, which is different from the traditional evening concert.)

That’s all I know about this concert, except that I know Nathan Kreutzer well enough to trust his taste completely. The Theme of Sacred Love” suggests a rich tapestry of musical caritas, but speculation will lead to nothing but (perhaps) misdirected pedantry.

The best way to learn more about this concert is to visit it and read the program cover to cover.

Tickets for this concert will be available at the entrance 30 minutes before each concert. For more information about Quire, their concerts, and current COVID-19 policy, visit them online at http://quireofvoyces.org/.
