Clint Eastwood’s daughter Alison described her famous father as a “down to earth” dad who loves the outdoors and beer.
The legendary actor and director has two adult children, Alison, 50, and Kyle, 54, with first wife Maggie Johnson, as well as six more from other relationships.
Now, Alison opened up about what it was like growing up with her famous father, telling U.S. magazine Closer: “When we were kids, my dad would take my brother and me to dinner and people would come up to him for autographs. He’s not one of those who craves it.”
Actress Alison and her musician brother grew up away from Hollywood in Pebble Beach, California, which she says was the perfect place for them to grow up.
She added: “It’s a magical place by the ocean and there are a lot of wild animals.”
The “Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil” star revealed that Clint is a humble guy who loves the outdoors and spends time with his friends and family.
She explained, “He’s down to earth, loves nature and jazz, hangs out and drinks beer.”
Alison also explains that although her parents divorced in 1984, she is still very close to her father and the entire extended family gets together once a year to spend Thanksgiving together.
After the divorce, the 92-year-old Hollywood star had several more relationships before remarrying in 1996, when he married television journalist Dina Ruiz.
They have a 25-year-old daughter, Morgan, but they later separated and divorced in 2014.
Clint’s other children are Lori, 68, Scott, 36, Kimber, 57, Katherine, 34, and Francesca, 28.
