FAIRMONT, WV – The Fairmont Hills Camper Fleet inaugurated Monday afternoon to showcase the park and its amenities.
The park offers 43 spaces for small and large vans. There is also free Wi-Fi, electricity, sewerage and running water. One of the owners said that the park is able to cater to all groups of people.
Representatives of the Marion County Chamber of Commerce attended the ribbon-cutting ceremony, where Chairman Jonathan Board congratulated the family on their perseverance and hard work to achieve the opening. The ribbon cutting then continued with food and drink.
The owners, Krekeyur and Himansu Patel, have owned the nearby Clarion Inn for several years. They had the opportunity to buy additional land, and former colleagues and friends gave them some information about the motorhome industry. Both of Patel’s men recognized the need for a RV park in Fairmont and Morgantown. They felt that if they could build it, it would be great for society and generate more tourism and tax revenue.
This is what Park Vice President Himansu Patel had to say to those who want to come and visit. “Oh, I would say, come, it’s beautiful here, you know, you have a view, you have everything you need to live. There’s a restaurant, there’s a pool, you know, there’s so much to do in the city. And you know, once you get on 79, there’s so much to see. So yes, I think everyone should come and check it out at some point.”
If you are interested in staying at the new park, you can start by booking. On the day that customers plan to stay, they check into the Clarion Inn, where they are given a keychain to enter the park and a numbered place to stay. The only thing needed from campers is ropes to connect.
The newly installed park can be found at 930 E. Grafton Road, Fairmont, WV 26554.
